TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Non-Direct Hiring Clause
Clients are prohibited from hiring workers provided by Domestic Duty directly. If a client hires any worker outside of the platform, they agree to pay a penalty of ₹50,000 as compensation.
2. Replacement Policy
Domestic Duty offers guaranteed worker replacement upon client request. In such cases, the client will be required to bear the two-way travel allowance for the replacement personnel.

5. Liability Waiver
Domestic Duty is not responsible for theft, loss, or damages caused by the worker during employment. Clients must ensure adequate precautions and supervision.
6. Limited Background Check
Domestic Duty conducts background checks on workers but does not guarantee their behaviour post-placement. Clients are encouraged to monitor their hired workers.
7. Termination Without Notice
Domestic Duty reserves the right to terminate the service without notice if dues are unpaid, or if disputes or breaches of terms occur.
8. Dispute Resolution Policy
Any disputes between the client and the worker must be reported to Domestic Duty within 48 hours for mediation. Domestic Duty is not legally responsible for personal conflicts.
9. Work Timing Compliance
Clients must adhere to the agreed working hours. Overburdening the worker beyond the agreed hours will result in service termination without refunds.
10. Delayed Payment Clause
If payment is not cleared within the due date, Domestic Duty reserves the right to suspend services until the payment is received.
11. Emergency Leave Policy
In the event a worker takes emergency leave, Domestic Duty will attempt to provide a replacement within 48-72 hours but is not obligated to do so immediately.
12. Refund Process Timeline
Refund requests will take up to 45 days to process. Only 30% of the received commission is refundable after the first month of service.
13. Contract Cancellation Deduction
If the client decides to cancel the contract within the first month of service, 25% of the total service fee will be deducted as a cancellation charge. The remaining amount will be refunded as per the agreed refund policy.
14. Client-Induced Damage
If the client forces the worker into unsafe or illegal activities resulting in injury or loss, the client will be held responsible for all consequences, including medical expenses.
15. Renewal & Rate Adjustments
Service charges may be revised annually based on market conditions, and renewal will be subject to updated terms.
16. Change of Address Notification
If the client moves to a new location, at least 7 days' notice must be provided to Domestic Duty for service continuation.
17. Refund Policy
Refunds will not be applicable beyond the 8th month of the contract term, regardless of the circumstances.
18. Police Verification
Domestic Duty conducts police verification of workers but cannot be held responsible for any criminal acts committed post-employment.
19. Accident Liability
If an accident occurs while the worker is at the client’s premises, the client agrees to bear all related expenses, including medical costs.
20. Advance Salary Payments
If the client pays the worker an advance salary, Domestic Duty will not be responsible for retrieving the excess amount if the worker leaves prematurely.
21. Holiday Salary Policy
If the worker does not take holidays, the client agrees to pay their salary for the unused holiday period.
22. Patient Care Clause
In the case of patient care, if the patient passes away during the agreed term, no refund will be provided for unused services.
23. No Job Description Alterations
Clients cannot alter the worker's job description or reduce their salary without prior written approval from Domestic Duty. Any disputes arising from this will be at the client’s liability.
24. Bag Check Policy
Clients must check the worker’s belongings upon entry and exit to avoid disputes. Domestic Duty will not be held responsible for theft allegations if this is not followed.
25. Jurisdiction Clause
All disputes are subject to Delhi jurisdiction only, ensuring legal protection for Domestic Duty.
26. Contract Validity
This agreement is valid for a period of and can be renewed upon mutual consent. Early termination without
prior notice will attract a penalty as specified.
27. Worker Absenteeism Policy
If the worker is absent for more than three consecutive days without valid reasons, Domestic Duty will attempt to replace them but is not liable for immediate service disruption.
28. Maid Performance Guarantee
Domestic Duty provides no guarantees regarding the performance or efficiency of the worker. The client assumes responsibility for monitoring and guiding the worker's duties.
29. Prohibition of Personal Loans
The client shall not provide personal loans or advances to workers without consulting Domestic Duty. Any such transactions are solely the client's responsibility.
30. Force Majeure
Domestic Duty shall not be held liable for failure to provide services due to unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government-imposed restrictions.
